Students, who are getting workplace experience, are assigned
a mentor. The mentor, who has the skills and knowledge to be mastered by a student,
provides instruction to the student, critiques performance, and works in consultation with
classroom teachers and the employer. |
| Internships |
Students work with an employer for a specified period of time
to learn about a particular industry or occupation. |
