A technologically skilled workforce is critical to business prosperity in the Upper Eastern Shore region – and these technology skills will only grow more important as time progresses.

The USMBC Career Connections Initiative includes a number of complementary programs bringing together employers, employees, educational institutions and students to build a technically skilled workforce on the Upper Eastern Shore.

Our programs include:

Career development programs to enlighten teachers on business careers and provide advanced courses in manufacturing technology for high school students.
Workplace readiness and field trip programs for students to help them directly experience the real world of manufacturing.
