ABOUT USMBC

USMBC is a non-profit regional membership organization established in 1990.  It creates an effective coalition and forum for manufacturing, technology, commercial firms, educational and government organizations and community groups throughout Maryland's Upper Eastern Shore (Caroline, Dorchester, Kent Queen Anne's and Talbot counties) focusing on technology in the workplace, workforce skills and education, and networking.

ches_college2.jpg (8202 bytes) USMBC is ideally located at Chesapeake College at the intersection of routes US 50 and MD 213.  Chesapeake College provides a broad range of degree and non-degree courses to fulfill the region's increasing needs for a technical skills and knowledge based work force.  Courses are offered at the college campus, at several satellite locations throughout the region, and at customer-business sites.

In addition, Chesapeake College has been designated an Upper Shore Advanced Technology Center, created to serve regional business and industry needs.  The labs and shops of the Manufacturing Training Center are well equipped to develop technology skills pertinent to the region's industries.
